Adam earned his B.A. in Psychology from Colby College and began his career in international education administering an exchange program between Shanghai and Washington, D.C. Ever since, his work has focused on helping people across distant cultures lead happier, more connected, and more purposeful, productive lives. He believes, as Frederick Douglass wrote, that education "means the uplifting of the soul of man into the glorious light of truth, the light only by which men can be free."
Adam lives with his wife and daughter in Ho Chi Minh City. Originally from Maine, he plans to return with his family to an active civic life, and to the abundant forests, lakes, and crisp maritime air of New England.
