Renewing the Dream
The marker where Martin Luther King Jr. stood is worn, faded, and hard to find. So is the brotherhood he called America to build.
Both can be renewed.

The symbol
Worn, tired, faded.
Millions of visitors walk past it each year. Many step on it. A few stop, but most do not see the remnant of one of the loudest moral summonses in American history.
The marker should be renewed.
So should the dream.
The Dream
Dr. King dreamed that one day every person would be judged not as a proxy for a group, but as a unique individual with inherent value.
The Renewal
This begins by enhancing the marker. Then we move on to our schools and neighborhoods—teaching our children they are not defined by skin color, nor are they born guilty or helpless.
"I say to you today, my friends, that in spite of the difficulties and frustrations of the moment, I still have a dream."
Martin Luther King Jr.
