Glenn Cort is an author, attorney, entrepreneur, and founder of Getting Along Academy, a nonprofit dedicated to helping young people develop the character, habits, and civic skills needed to thrive in an increasingly polarized world.

A graduate of Ithaca College and Boston University School of Law, Cort began his career as an Assistant District Attorney in Norfolk County and later served in the Massachusetts Attorney General's Civil Rights Division before spending more than two decades building a successful business.

A turning point came in 2020 while teaching students through a Boston nonprofit partnership. Hearing young people express fear, division, and uncertainty about the future inspired Cort to leave his business career and devote himself full time to understanding the forces driving polarization—and to building practical tools to help reverse them.

His work now includes the book Letters to Mikey: Messages of Hope and Optimism for Young Americans; GettingAlong.com, which offers articles, educational resources, and a civics curriculum for schools and youth organizations; the documentary The Fantastic Truths; the Counterbalance podcast; and 4Humanity.net, home to the National Positivity Portal, an AI-powered platform designed to make the everyday good happening across America visible at scale.

Across each of these efforts, Cort advances a simple belief: most Americans have far more in common—and far more good in them—than our culture often reflects. His work seeks to strengthen trust, encourage healthier disagreement, and give the next generation credible reasons for hope.

Glenn lives in Weston, Massachusetts, with his wife, Brooke. They have three grown children and a golden retriever named Gracie, who makes a memorable appearance in Letters to Mikey.
